Interested in boosting your swimming technique? Have any general questions about how to do or train for a triathlon? Come to one (or both) of the clinics at the Albany Aquatic Center to get some advice and pointers to help boost your confidence on race day for the Albany Community Triathlon (Sunday 9/25/16).
Clinics will be run by Steve Trutane (triathlete and a race organizer) and Carol Nip (certified USMS masters swim coach). See links below for more details and registration:

If you are interested in getting some open water coaching, check out this clinic on Sat 8/27/16 at the Richmond Plunge and Keller Cove, organized by RichmondSwims.org. You need to be a current USMS member to participate in that clinic.
And don’t forget to register for the AlbanyTri soon. The next price bump happens on 9/12/16 (after the Solano Stroll). Race organizers will be at the Albany Athletic Boosters booth at the Solano Stroll and will be accepting registrations and talking about the race there, as we’ve done in previous years.
Last day for Early Bird registration for the Albany Community Triathlon is 24 July 2016. Take advantage of the low fee today — you won’t find this quality of multi-sport fun at such a low pricing anywhere else in Northern California!

Kids ages 5-8 can now join the multisport fun at the Albany Community Triathlon!
New for 2016 is a “super youth” division to accommodate those high-energy tots. The super youth course is a very short version of the main course: 1 lap in the pool (25y), one lap on the bike (0.5mi), and a half lap around the park (0.25mi).
There will be just 1 or 2 super youth heats which will start after the main course participants have cleared the pool (approximately 11am).
The super youth also qualify for a super price! Registration is now available for all categories of participants (adult, regular & super youth, and teams). Sign up today and best of luck to all in your training this summer!
