We welcome your organization or company to become a sponsor of the Albany Community Triathlon! The AlbanyTri is a popular Albany CA event and a tradition since 2008 with a large local East Bay fan base. Available sponsorship levels are described below along with the number available for the current year. As a fundraising event for public school sports, cash donations are preferred, but in-kind donations of goods & services are also welcomed. The AlbanyTri has raised nearly $100,000 as of our 2024 event — and sponsors have played a big role in making that possible. 🙏🏼

AlbanyTri Sponsorship – General Info

Logo listing on Sponsors page: Current year sponsor logos and links to your website will be listed on our current sponsors page within one week of of receiving a sponsorship commitment and will be posted on AlbanyTri.com through the entire school year (mid-August of this year till June of next year). After that, the sponsors for that year’s event will be maintained on an archival sponsors page (for example, our 2022 sponsors). Logo size and prominence on the page depends on sponsorship level (higher level = larger & more prominent listing).

Deadline to appear on T-shirt: We welcome your support whenever is convenient for you, but in order to have your logo appear on the event T-shirt for the current year’s event (Silver Level sponsors and above), we must receive your commitment before the end of August. Generally, we start lining up sponsorship commitments for the current year’s event starting in the spring & summer. Payment must be received by 1 week after the event date.

Limited sponsorship levels: Some of the levels listed below are limited to a single sponsor: Pool, Swag, and Chip Levels. These single-sponsor levels are higher profile and are cash-only (not in-kind) since money received from those levels goes directly towards defraying specific event expenses. Other sponsorship levels can have multiple number sponsors at that level, with decreasing availability as the level increases: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum.

Bronze Level 🥉 (4)

With a cash contribution of $250 your organization receives:

• Small sized logo and link to your website from the current AlbanyTri.com Sponsors page.
• Your banner displayed at event (banner to be provided by sponsor).

Silver Level 🥈 (4)

With a cash contribution of $500, your organization receives the Bronze Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Medium sized logo and link to your website.
• Medium sized logo printed on the back of the event T-shirt.
• Opportunity to host an exhibit booth on-site at the event (booth to be provided by sponsor).
• Acknowledgment in our email/website communications to registered athletes.

Gold Level 🥇 (3)

With a cash contribution of $750, your organization receives all of the Silver Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Large sized logo and link to your website.
• Large sized logo printed on the back of the event T-shirt.
• A 50% reduced rate on entry fees for three employees of your company.
• Mention in at least one AlbanyTri social media post on at least one platform (FB, IG, X).

Platinum Level 💍 (3)

With a cash contribution of $1000, your organization receives all of the Gold Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Large logo displayed prominently on the event T-shirt, website and flyers.
• Mention in at least two AlbanyTri social media posts on at least two platforms (FB, IG, X).
• Special mention during race day announcements to athletes.

Pool Sponsor (1)

With a cash contribution of $600 — which covers our pool rental fee — your organization receives all of the Silver Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Banner displayed at entrance to the Aquatic Center.
• Special mention during race day announcements to athletes.
• Limited to a single sponsor.

Swag Item Sponsor (1)

With a cash contribution of $750 — which covers our swag purchasing fee — your organization receives all of the Gold Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Your logo (along with the AlbanyTri logo) featured on the main event swag item.
  • Swag item is to be determined (examples: swim cap, towel, bike bottle).
• Special mention during race day announcements to athletes.
• Limited to a single sponsor.

Chip Timing Sponsor (1)

With a cash contribution of $1,500 — which covers the cost of our chip timing system used for collecting race results — your organization receives all of the Platinum Level benefits listed above with the following additions and enhancements:

• Banner displayed at the finish line, on or near the main finish arch.
• Special mention during race day announcements to athletes.
• Limited to a single sponsor.

Product Level Sponsorship

We accept product and/or promotional items from any sponsor for insertion into the participant and volunteer swag bags. We also accept gift certificates for products and services to be used as finisher prizes for overall and age group winners, or donated services to be offered to all participants (such as group training workouts, bike tune-ups, etc.). The cash value of the donated services/certificates will count towards the Bronze/Silver/Gold/Platinum sponsorship levels described above. Product-level donations cannot be used towards the Pool, Swag, and Chip Timing Levels, since cash from those levels is required to defray our expenses. All product level sponsors will have logos listed on our sponsors page.
